Who is Rita Catolino?

After seeing my mother struggle with weight issues her entire life, and feeling like I was headed down the same path, I made a decision to create a change! I resolved to "grab a hold" of my health, and in 2007 after the birth of my own daughter Ariana, I began to build a strong foundation.

I knew I had to change my lifestyle and be an example for my new bundle of joy. It's never too late! I picked up my first dumbbell at 27-years-old and literally changed the trajectory of my life. After a few years of transforming both my lifestyle and physique, I didn't want to keep it a secret anymore. I wanted to share this lifestyle with the world!

I became a certified trainer and nutritionist and started helping other women "regain their shine." During this time, I fell into a fitness modelling career. I graced the covers of more than seven international fitness magazines, including Oxygen and Women's Health & Fitness.

I also competed internationally in bikini modelling and represented Canada at “The Arnold's International Stage” in Madrid before hanging up my heels in 2014. I have created countless programs for women, including my newest program, Beautiful Body Blueprint, 4 Weeks to Fab, and many more. 

Last year I published my first book (In Swedish) with my friend and co-author Maria Borelius. The book immediately soared to the top of the best-seller charts. It is very exciting!

Having experienced my own fair share of struggles, I use them to find strength and draw from them to inspire others to do the same.
